Capturing our Essence

LPS magazine offers gifted writer’s an opportunity to “Live Out Your Faith” through the pages of our publication. To realize our purpose, we must continually offer modern Christian Women a virtual sanctuary that authentically represents their values, perspectives, experiences and adversities.

LPS is her forum for growth in every facet of her life: spiritual, emotional, personal and social. And who better to capture the soul of her desires than women who look and feel as she does – or men who can gift perspective that is beyond her reach.

We welcome your contributions…may the spirit lead you in maximizing your birthed abilities as a writer for LPS magazine.

Understanding our structure

We encourage you to become familiar with the LPS format prior to submitting your work. This information will better equip you in preparing content that is aligned with the overall structure.

Columns/Departments

Our publication is passionately robust offering a myriad of flavors, colors and textures for our readers to spiritually and mentally consume. The information outlined below captures several key areas where we anticipate your artistry, charisma and passion by virtue of writing contributions. We ask that you envision a specific column/department when developing and/or submitting your work.

LPS is a quarterly publication offering our readers the precious gift of time to inhale and savor every word. New issues are published on the 2nd Tuesday of February, May, August and November.

Themes

Our issues aim to be thematic in nature without being too prescriptive and predictable. Themes offer readers a way to hone in on a very specific area of relevance for the purpose of directing special attention to the parts of themselves that are reflected in the respective issue.
We will always listen to what’s at the heart of readers and will remain flexible when determining subject matter and themes. In fact, we welcome your feedback regarding ideas and direction for future issues.

Knowing Our Process

Unfortunately, we can not guarantee that all articles submitted for consideration will be published. If we decide to publish your article we will notify you prior to its publication. In some instances, articles may be archived for use in future issues.

You will receive confirmation regarding the status (publish, archive or decline) of your submission within four months. Whatever the outcome, we challenge you to continue to embrace your writing goals!
Please keep in mind that we reserve the right to edit all submissions for grammar, content, style, clarity and continuity (including Bylines).
